Create your account and sign in

Each company has its own account in Ravisign, with users, templates, envelopes, API keys and settings kept separate from all other accounts. There are two ways to create the account.

Through the website#

1. Go to the Ravisign website and click Create account.
2. Enter the company details and the details of the person in charge, and choose the password.
3. Ravisign sends a 6-digit code to the email address you entered. Type the code to confirm that the email address is yours. The code is valid for 15 minutes and allows 5 attempts; if it does not arrive, request another one after a minute.
4. Done: the account is created and the person in charge enters the panel right away as the account owner.

The account starts on the trial plan: 10 days and up to 20 envelopes, with no credit card. During the trial, every feature of the panel and the API works normally. To continue after the trial, choose a plan in Settings, in the plan area. Documents already completed remain available.

Note during some periods, sign-up through the website works by access request: you enter the company details and a message, and the Ravi Systems team gets in touch to enable the account.

Through ChatISP#

Ravisign was built to work together with ChatISP, the Ravi Systems customer service system for internet service providers. Today, the provider creates the account through the website, generates an API key in Settings > API keys and registers that key in ChatISP.

Coming soon account creation without typing anything, directly from ChatISP. ChatISP will prove the installation with Ravi Systems, Ravisign will create the account with the provider's details and return to ChatISP its own API key, stored encrypted. The person in charge will receive panel access by email.

Ravisign is billed separately: the ChatISP license neither includes nor discounts the Ravisign plan, and without an active plan ChatISP does not send contracts. See How ChatISP uses Ravisign.

Sign in to the panel#

1. Click Sign in at the top of the website.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. If two-step verification is turned on, type the 6-digit code from the authenticator app.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot my password on the sign-in screen: a reset code is sent to the registered email address and is valid for a few minutes. If you did not request the code, ignore the message: your password stays the same.

User roles#

Each team member has their own access, with one of the four roles below. The owner and the administrator invite users in Settings > Users; the invited person receives a welcome email and sets their password through Forgot my password.

Tip give each person the most limited role that covers their work. Someone who only follows contracts needs nothing more than Read only.

Two-step verification#

Two-step verification protects access even if the password leaks. It uses an authenticator app on your phone (any app compatible with 6-digit codes that change every 30 seconds).

1. In My account, on the Two-step verification card, click Turn on.
2. Scan the QR code with the authenticator app. Without a camera, add the key shown below the code to the app.
3. Type the 6-digit code shown by the app and click Confirm and turn on.

From then on, every sign-in asks for the password and the code from the app. The details are in My account.

Warning whoever has access to API keys, webhooks and users controls the entire account. For owners and administrators, two-step verification should be mandatory in your company.
