Settings

The Settings screen brings together everything that applies to the whole account: company details, plan, users, integrations, signature rules and the texts sent to signers. Only the owner and the administrator can access this screen. Each change is saved immediately and recorded in the account audit log.

Account details#

Legal name or name, CPF or CNPJ (checked by its check digits), contact email and phone number, default account language and time zone. The time zone defines how dates and deadlines appear to your team and in emails.

Your company logo appears on the signing page and in the emails sent to signers. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 300 KB. Remove returns to the default.

Plan#

Shows the current plan, the monthly envelope limit, how many have already been used and the expiration date. Users with permission to manage the plan can request a change through a message, which goes to the Ravi Systems sales team.

Note accounts created through ChatISP are billed through ChatISP while the account is linked. See Integration with ChatISP.

Users#

Invite the people on your team and choose each one's role: Owner, Administrator, Operator or Read only. The table of roles is in Create account. Users can be deactivated without losing the history of what they did.

API keys#

Create keys to integrate your system with Ravisign. For each key you choose a name and the scopes (what the key is allowed to do). The full secret is shown only once, at creation: copy it and keep it in a password vault. After that, the panel shows only the beginning of the key. A key can be revoked at any time, with immediate effect. Details in API: overview.

Webhooks#

Register the HTTPS address that should receive event notifications (envelope completed, signature recorded, refusal and others) and choose which events to subscribe to. The signing secret for deliveries is shown at creation and can be rotated. The list of deliveries shows the result of each attempt. Details in Webhooks.

Signature#

Setting Default What it does
Code channel Email How the signer receives the confirmation code when the envelope does not define another one
Selfie at signing Off Asks for a photo of the signer's face at the moment of signing
Document photo Off Asks for a photo of an identity document
Keep selfie and document for 90 days After this period the images are deleted automatically (1 to 3650 days)

Coming soon collection of the selfie and the document photo on the signing page. The options can already be adjusted and take effect when the feature is released.

Envelope defaults#

Values applied to every new envelope, which can be changed envelope by envelope:

  • Deadline to sign: from 1 to 365 days (default 30).
  • Automatic reminder: from 0 to 720 hours (default 48; zero turns it off).

Messages#

All the texts that Ravisign sends or prints on behalf of your account are editable, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Each text shows the variables it accepts; click a variable to insert it. Restore default undoes the customization of that text.

Text Parts Accepted variables
Signing invitation Subject and body {{nome}} {{conta}} {{titulo}} {{mensagem}} {{link}} {{prazo}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}
Reminder Subject and body {{nome}} {{conta}} {{titulo}} {{link}} {{prazo}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}
Completion Subject and body {{nome}} {{conta}} {{titulo}} {{link_validacao}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}
Confirmation code Subject and body {{nome}} {{titulo}} {{codigo}} {{minutos}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}
Welcome Subject and body {{nome}} {{email}} {{conta}} {{url}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}
Signature manifest Title, statement and footer {{produto}} {{empresa}} {{uuid}} {{link_validacao}}
Acceptance clause Body {{titulo}} {{conta}} {{produto}} {{empresa}}

Warning some texts have required variables: the invitation and the reminder need {{link}}, and the code email needs {{codigo}}. Without them the signer would not be able to sign, so the panel does not allow saving.

Audit log#

Lists the administrative actions taken in the account (who changed a setting, created an API key, invited a user, canceled an envelope), with date, author and IP. It can be filtered by person, type of action and period. Available to users with permission to view the audit log.

Note the account audit log is different from the audit trail of each envelope. The trail records the signing journey and is hash-chained; the audit log records the administration of the account.
